Eligibility

Candidates interested in PhD Agriculture Economics should follow the eligibility criteria as given below:; The candidates should have completed their Masters' from same or equivalent stream from any recognized university.; Those who are appearing for the entrance examination as conducted by some Institutes, the minimum qualifying marks as per the requirements of the same must be obtained by the desired candidates.

Agrometeorology and Environmental Sciences APPLY FOR THIS COURSE

Eligibility

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry/Forestry.; Minimum Overall grade point Average (OGPA) 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent percentage of marks at Master' degree level. A candidate can apply for the Doctoral Programme only in the Major subject of study at Master's degree level.

Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry APPLY FOR THIS COURSE

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria prescribed for admissions to PhD Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry Courses have been listed below for your reference:; PhD Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry requires candidates to have completed an M.Phil Degree in the same field or a relevant field with at least 55% marks at the qualifying examination.; The degree obtained must be from a recognised college or institute.; The aspiring candidate must not have any previous backlogs at their previous education level.; Aside from the above-mentioned criteria, other universities may have their own concerns that students must address in order to be qualified candidates for the course.

Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension APPLY FOR THIS COURSE

Eligibility

The candidate must have obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and that college must be within the list of VCI Schedule of recognized veterinary colleges /institutes.; and The candidates must have completed Master's programme and result notified. However, the candidates who have completed all the requirements for Master's programme and have passed the viva-voce examination may also be considered for admission in order of their merit in the entrance test. If the Master's degree and transcript are not issued to them by the University till the date of counseling, they shall have to produce a certificate from the Dean, Post-graduate Studies/Registrar of their University indicating the OGPA and date of qualifying the viva-voce examination.; The minimum educational eligibility for admission of fresh as well as in-service candidates shall be 70% marks (where OGPA is not given) or an Overall Grade Point Average of 7.0 (10.00 basis) in M.V.Sc. in the subject concerned from a VCI recognized veterinary college/institute.; Such candidates who have not obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. and Master’s degree from a veterinary college/institute recognized by VCI will not be eligible for the entrance test and no valid web generated admit card will be issued to them.; The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council.

Veterinary Pathology APPLY FOR THIS COURSE

Eligibility

A candidate should possess at least 70% marks in aggregate or 7.0/10.0 in Master’s Degree Programme and in case of SC/ST, 65% marks in aggregate or 6.5/10.00 OGPA.
